The arrival in Croatia
The time has finally come! After a long car ride we reached our destination and arrived in Croatia. The sun shone in our faces and the turquoise sea glistened in front of us. We are amazed by the beauty of this area.

After leaving our luggage at our accommodation, we set off to explore the area. We will stroll through the narrow streets of the old town, visit the small fishing villages and taste the local cuisine. The smell of fresh fish and olive oil is in the air.
In the evening we make ourselves comfortable on the terrace and enjoy the sunset. We will plan our SUP routes for the coming week and can’t wait to explore the coast from the water.

Island Jumping: An adventure week on the SUP in Croatia

Each island had its own charm and offered a unique experience. We paddled through crystal clear waters that shimmered in all shades of blue and turquoise. We discovered hidden coves where we could rest and swim.
The islands also offered opportunities to go hiking and explore the untouched nature. We climbed hills and enjoyed breathtaking views of the sea and surrounding islands. We stopped at some beaches and set up our own SUP lounge with umbrellas and snacks.

Day 3: Exploring Kornati National Park
After strengthening our bodies with SUP yoga on day 2, it is now time to explore the Kornati National Park. With our SUP board we can experience the breathtaking beauty of the national park first hand. With a total of 89 islands, Kornati is a paradise for nature and adventure lovers.
We start our exploration tour along the coast and paddle further out into the open sea. We will pass fantastic bays with crystal clear water and beautiful beaches. Underwater we can observe the colorful underwater world and marvel at the beauty of the Adriatic Sea. Our professional guides will show us the secret places and tell us the stories about the origin of the National Park Kornati.
In the afternoon we take a break at one of the beautiful islands in the National Park Kornati. There we have enough time to snorkel, swim and relax. Some of us choose to explore the landscape on foot and discover the flora and fauna of the park.
In the evening we return to our accommodation and end the day with a delicious dinner and local wine. The day in the National Park Kornati will remain in our memories for a long time and remains a highlight of our SUP trip in Croatia.

Traveling by SUP board can be exhausting, so it is important to take a break and relax as well. On the Makarska Riviera you can find numerous possibilities for this.
How about a relaxing beach walk along the promenade of Makarska? There are many small cafes and restaurants here where you can take a break and enjoy the view of the turquoise blue sea.
If you like it a bit more active, you can take a hike to the nearby Biokovo National Park. Here you can find numerous hiking trails that lead through the impressive landscape and allow a breathtaking view of the sea.
